Days 21-24). After a leisurely drive from Louisville, KY, we arrived at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen, Indiana, for the 2025 Entegra Coach Homecoming, an event that brings [Wild Blue Yonder](https://roadsheaux.com/wild-

Elkhart County proudly holds the title of “RV Capital of the World,” producing approximately 80% of all recreational vehicles in the US. It is home to numerous RV manufacturers, offering factory tours that showcase the craftsmanship behind these vehicles . Additionally, the RV/MH Hall of Fame & Museum in Elkhart celebrates over a century of RV history, featuring vintage models and industry exhibits.

Despite the wealth of attractions in the area, we found ourselves so engaged with the Homecoming events—enjoying the camaraderie, entertainment, and services—that we didn’t venture out beyond a quick trip to Walmart for supplies. The fairgrounds provided everything we needed for a memorable stay. Besides, this wasn't our first rodeo in the area, so we have visited it all before.

Before we could enjoy the Homecoming festivities—I had to go toe-to-toe with a sewer cap that was clearly engineered by someone with a grudge against full-hookup convenience. Coming off a "2" on my daily Wordle and with a stomach full of bacon, I was up to the challenge. Armed with a screwdriver, a hammer, and eventually a small gathering of helpful neighbors offering moral support, I finally pried it loose like we were unearthing treasure. Victory was satisfying.

One of the standout aspects of Homecoming was the exceptional service provided by Entegra and its partners. Minor issues that might have taken weeks at a local service center were addressed promptly: Entegra replaced a thermostat sensor in the bedroom, a macerator relay, and fixed the bedroom closet door plus conducted a comprehensive walkthrough with us. (There is always something new to learn.). Spartan adjusted the baseline on our tire pressure monitoring system. An upholstery company repaired a small spot in the sofa, making it look brand new. Ramco fine-tuned our mirrors. River Park assisted with our entertainment system and matrix questions. MagneShade resolved a couple of persistent issues with a side shade. I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple of things.

All of this was accomplished while we enjoyed ice cream, milkshakes, three hearty meals a day, and an open bar. Prime rib night was particularly memorable, with carving stations slicing off generous portions like they knew we’d been working hard… at relaxing. Evenings were packed with fun—games, giveaways, a DJ's, and live music that had the crowd on their feet. Country night brought out the boots, and classic rock night bought out the big hair and the crowd singing along. The energy was as good as the food.

In between free milkshakes and mirror adjustments, I also got a peek at the stunning new 2026 Black Panther Edition—and wow. sleek, bold, and dripping with features I didn’t even know I needed, it’s the kind of coach that makes you rethink your retirement timeline. I quietly circled the year 2031 on my mental calendar. That gives me six years to sell a screenplay, or discover oil. But more importantly, it gives it 5 years to depreciate and maybe, possibly drop into my price range.

Beyond the services and amenities, the true highlight was reconnecting with familiar faces. These gatherings offer a chance to relax, share stories, and strengthen the bonds within the Entegra community. It’s heartening to see companies prioritize top-notch customer service and foster such a welcoming environment.

As we prepare to depart for our journey west, we’re grateful for the experiences—and for giving Wild Blue Yonder her well-deserved Homecoming. We are looking forward to our next adventure with our Entegra family.
