We're not fans of legalese any more than you are. So here's the deal — we'll tell you exactly how this blog works, who we're in relationships with, and what we do with the very little information we collect from you. No surprises, no fine print that says one thing and means another.
Editorial Policy
Everything we publish is based on our own real experiences — the actual roads we've driven, the actual parks we've walked, the actual campgrounds where we've plugged in, set up camp, and sometimes woken up to something we did not plan for. We're here to tell you what it was actually like.
If we're ever compensated to visit a place, write about a product, or cover an experience, we'll say so clearly — right up front. Our opinions don't change because someone comped a night or sent us a free widget, but you deserve to know the context.
Review Policy
RV park reviews, campground stays, gear recommendations, local spots — we only write about things we've actually experienced. We're not in the business of armchair reviewing.
Our general approach to negative experiences: we usually just don't write anything. Life on the road is too short for hit pieces, and one bad night at a campground doesn't tell the whole story. That said, there are rare circumstances where something rises to the level of needing to be said — if it genuinely affects your safety, your wallet, or your ability to make an informed decision. In those cases, we'll say something, and we'll be fair about it.
Any time a product, stay, or experience was provided to us for free or at a discount in exchange for coverage, we will disclose it clearly.

Some links on this site may contain affiliate links. That means if you click through and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We only link to things we've actually used, would actually use, or would recommend to a friend parked next to us at a campsite.

Sponsored Content
If we've been paid or provided something of value to write about a product, brand, or experience, the post will be clearly labeled as sponsored. Our opinions remain our own — we won't put our name on something we don't believe in, and we won't recommend something just because someone paid us.
Privacy Policy
We keep it simple here, because we don't want to know more about you than we need to.
If you sign up for our email list, your address is used to send you that email and nothing else. It's never sold, traded, or shared. You can unsubscribe any time — the link is in every email — and if it's not working, reach out directly and we'll handle it immediately, no questions asked.
If you comment on a post, your contact info is used only to display your name and let you opt in to reply notifications. That's it.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find the site and what content resonates — but this data is anonymous. We can't see who you are from it, only broad patterns.
